I, too, am disapointed in Tiger. His dad would be also. It is sad that these are the very people that our kids and grandkids look up to. I know he is human, but dog gone it, he mad a commitment to his wife and if he didn't intend to keep it, he should have not married her. Keep that thing corralled! I do hope they can work through it and remain in their marriage, though.

It's so funny how Tiger is making the news about his personel life and this affair.
    What is the world thinking?
Tempted by all the weath he has makes him feel he can just be an invisible being and not watched? I don't think so! Now he has a long haul ahead to get his life tight and organized.

Sorry I'm not here when anyone else is. It is cold here!

So happy today is Friday! I could well have worked another hour last evening, but it is waiting for me this morning - LoL! Issues are coming out of the walls! Ugh! We'll deal with them as best we can and move on.

Hope you all have a very good and blessed day! Not sure if I'm sitting with the Grands this evening or not, probably so. Josiah is excited for me to see their Christmas tree - he loves it! So far it is still intact, no climbers, yet!

Prosecutors In Casey Case Shoot Down Defense Motion

    Posted: 6:02 pm EST December 4, 2009Updated: 6:47 pm EST December 4, 2009

Comment On This Story ››ORLANDO, Fla. -- Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony are trying to shoot down a defense team's motion, which claims Casey faces too many check fraud charges.

The defense wants some of the charges thrown out on the grounds that Casey shouldn't face multiple charges for each check she's accused of stealing from her former best friend and cashing them.

But prosecutors say each charge is a separate crime, with separate evidence, and should stand.

The judge hasn't made a decision on the issue.

Hi All - Hope everyone is doing well tonight.

I sent an email to all of you last night to help explain why I haven't been here lately. If you haven't seen it yet, it is in your in box. I will try to be here when I can, but I am just getting too drained dealing with things at work right now. It's a busy time of year as it is there and I'm trying to cover for too many people and keep up with my own job simultaneously. I have put the FT/FV games to a halt for past week and only do what has to be done there, which I can't control without quitting them altogether. I don't necessarily want to quit them, just can't deal with them right now.

I hope you all understand.. I will be here when I can, but during the week it will be more limited. It won't be like that forever and there is tiny glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel right now. The person on Maternity leave will be back last week of January and trying to back people up on vacation from now till year end will be over in a few weeks. I will be ecstatic to bring in the New Year, as there will be some reprieve from the stresses I am feeling right now.

Love you all Your first subject - Page 8 194413

Sue, I did read your email - I just haven't responded, yet. I know how the job can take its toll on us - it has been a stressful year for me but the grande fanale is approaching with the project. I cannot believe that I've been on this project for 14 mos.!

My baby boy is 39 today - and his baby boy - Josiah - will be three tomorrow. Josiah still does not want a birthday party - no presents - he wants to be 2, not 3. Had a great time with them last evening! What joy they bring to my heart! Such a great way to end a hectic work week! They don't require much, just love and attentention and I have plenty to share with all of them. I just don't understand Josiah not wanting a birthday party. I say, "Jo, are you going to have a birthday on Sunday?" ... he says, "No, not yet. I'm not going to be 3, I'm going to be 2." Oh well.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Victim's family: 'satisfied' with Knox conviction

PERUGIA, Italy — The family of a slain British woman said Saturday they were pleased with the murder conviction of American student Amanda Knox but said there was no sense of celebration.
Meredith Kercher's relatives made their first comments since a jury in Perugia, Italy, announced early Saturday that they had convicted Knox and sentenced her to 26 years in prison for the 2007 murder.
The court also convicted Knox's co-defendant and former boyfriend, Italian Raffaele Sollecito, and gave him a 25-year jail term. The two reportedly both were under suicide watch in separate prisons.
"Ultimately we are pleased with the decision, pleased that we've got a decision, but it's not a time for celebration," Lyle Kercher, the victim's brother, said.
Kercher's sister, Stephanie, said the verdict "does bring a a little bit of justice, for us and for her." But she added: "Life will never be the same without Mez."
Kercher, 21, was Knox's roommate while they studied in Perugia.
Her body was found in a pool of blood with her throat slit on Nov. 2, 2007, at the apartment they shared. Prosecutors said the Leeds University student was murdered the previous night.
After a yearlong trial and some 13 hours of deliberations, the jury read out the verdict in a packed courtroom shortly after midnight. Knox burst into tears and murmured "No, no," clinging to one of her lawyers.
Minutes later, the 22-year-old from Seattle was put in a police van with sirens blaring and driven back to her jail just outside Perugia.
She spent her first night in jail as a convicted woman under suicide watch, the ANSA news agency and other reports said. Sollecito, also kept under suicide watch — which is common in such cases — received the visit of one of his lawyers, ANSA said.
In Italy verdicts can be appealed by both sides. The prosecutors said they were satisfied with the ruling and would not seek to appeal, even though the court did not grant their request for life imprisonment. Prosecutor Manuela Comodi said that the verdict "recognizes the defendants are guilty of all the crimes they had been charged with."
Both the Knox family and lawyers for Sollecito have announced an appeal.
The American's father, Curt Knox, asked shortly after the verdict if he would fight on for his daughter, replied, with tears in his eyes: "Hell, yes."
Throughout the trial, prosecutors depicted Knox as a promiscuous and manipulative she-devil whose personality clashed with her roommate's. They say Knox had grown to hate Kercher.
"It appears clear to us that the attacks on Amanda's character in much of the media and by the prosecution had a significant impact on the judges and jurors and apparently overshadowed the lack of evidence in the prosecution's case against her," the Knox family said in a statement.
In Seattle, Madison Paxton, Knox's friend from the University of Washington, said: "They're convicting a made-up person ... "They they're convicting 'Foxy Knoxy.' That's not Amanda."
Prosecutors argued that on the night of the murder, Knox and Kercher started arguing, and that Knox joined Sollecito and Ivory Coast national Rudy Hermann Guede in brutally attacking and sexually assaulting the Briton under "the fumes of drugs and possibly alcohol."
Guede was convicted previously and sentenced to 30 years. He denies wrongdoing and is appealing.
Knox said Kercher was a friend whose slaying shocked and saddened her.
Defense lawyers maintained there was not enough evidence for a conviction and no clear motive. They disputed DNA traces that the prosecution linked to Knox and Sollecito as inconclusive, and in some cases said the evidence had been inadvertently contaminated.
The pair also was convicted of illegally carrying a weapon — the knife — and of staging a burglary at the house where the murder occurred by breaking a window, supposedly in an effort to sidetrack the investigation.
Knox also was convicted of defaming Congolese man, Patrick Diya Lumumba, whom she accused of the killing. Lumumba was jailed briefly but was later cleared. Knox said during the trial that police pressure led her to initially accuse an innocent man.
___Got a strenge feeling with this case.....don't think Amanda did it, there literally was no evidence she did......it has been a fascinating court case, Italian's laws r very different than ours...

Mornin All - Hope you are all doing well today.

The ground is covered in a blanket of snow here, but the clouds have lifted for the most part and sun is peeking through. It's only mid 20's here, but looks kind of pretty out with the sun glistening on the snow. I have to venture out in a bit to run some errands and fill Nellie up with more go go juice. Going to put my tree up today as well, when I get done cleaning. I love to see the lights on at night time, along with some relaxing music.

LB, Thank you for your kind words.. I really appreciate it, because I needed a little boost to help get me out of the slump I am in right now.

Sis, Thank you too for putting up with me this week. I know I was a bit misserable at times to talk to.

Love you all.. Have a great Day!!

Your first subject - Page 8 Icon_cheers I finally finished cleaning up Jim's place....I made him Chex Mix and a dozen cupcakes....I am so thrilled that he will be here when I get up in the morning....I have missed my good friend...he is 2 months late getting here this year....he has had some medical issues that have had us both worried but thank God he is doing ok for now.

Sis I am worried about you but I understand your need for space from outside activities because they can be overwhelming when you are busy at work and stressed out on top of all that....I will always be there for you anytime you need me. Love ya lots.
I hope you all have had a good day....I have been very busy with Jim's place and poor Judy....She has a leak in her bathroom and her dirty clothes all got wet so we had to run a load of her clothes and wash and dry them....We are suppose to be in the 30's here tonight and her Son has invited to spend the night with him...he has heat and she doesn't....She is thrilled so I am hoping that this will bring about a peace with them.
I am going to take a quick power nap....I am exhausted....but it is a good exhausted....I have done things for my friends today....wish we were all closer so we could get together and make cookies or just sit and talk....I love you all...Hugs!!!!!

    Hi All,

I'm slowly emerging from my shell that I have been in. Today was a good day over all. I got my running around done, Vacuumed, dusted and put up my Christmas tree along with another one that I don't generally put up. I ordered a new toilet today, because my current one has been acting up for quite some time. My brother is going to pick it up during the week and put it in while I'm at work. That is my Christmas present to myself.. Yahoo a new John!!

    Good morning, Friends!

Ripple, I'm praying for you to have a peaceful week at work - and I don't envy you having snow before us! I don't mind seeing it come down, but I don't like seeing it stick to everything.

Dale, I'm so sorry that things are so quiet at your house! I'm so hoping that things work out for Ian and Pam and that your grandaughter will fill your house with laughter and love!

Nana, you have such a wonderful heart! I pray blessings upon you!

Mica, I hope your shift is going well, it is a huge adjustment for you and another huge adjustment coming up with your daughter moving away. I'm thinking of you, and I apologize for not posting my thoughts.

Shels, sure miss ya! Love the photo of you and your 3 by the covered wagon! You are a beautiful young woman and your children reflect beauty - inside and out! Dennis is still in my prayers, I cannot imagine how difficult this time of year is for him.

    Missing you, Jamie and Maddy!

Birthday party for Josiah today, although he does not want one. He had a great time with Daddy's cake last evening, though! He thought the cake was for him, at first and he went and hid, he didn't want it to be about him at all. I've never seen a child his age so adament about not wanting a birthday!

Back to work tomorrow, this week is supposed to be the last week of actual tagging of equipment - next is the long and tedious task of cleaning up the database and getting rid of those assets that are not tagged so we have clean data in the base. It is ongoing and will never end, but the bulk of it will be completed. I am truly honored that I was part of this huge project and I am thrilled that it is coming to an end! Please pray that my performance on this project reflects my contract evaluation in a very positive way! Negotiations have begun but the actual signing and completing of the contract won't be finished until after the first of the year. God is good and I totally trust Him with this and all things!

Long post, guess I'm windy this morning - LoL! Hope you all have a blessed day!

Good Morning All - It's another chilly, but sunny day here today. Hope everyone is doing well.

Going to my Mom's pretty soon to visit and walk the pups, then it is dreaded laundry after that. My Christmas tree stand broke last night. I heard this loud crash and flew out of bed to see what it was. Bulbs were broken all over the floor, so had to clean all that up. Propped the tree back upright and have to get a new stand for it today. I do have to say it was very relaxing earlier in the night laying on the couch with just the tree lights lit up on both trees, listening to Enya. I let my mind wander listening to the music and fell asleep after a while. Guess I got too relaxed..

Linda - I hope your work week goes well for you.. I am glad that you don't have to deal with the snow as well. It is kind of pretty though. I will get tired of it soon enough, but for now it is pretty. Hope you have a great day..

Sis - I bet Jim is there now and I bet he really appreciates you opening his place up for him, cleaning it, getting the heat on and the yummies that you left for him to eat. Hope you and Mom have a great day and a nice reunion with Jim..

Daley LB - Hope your day is going well today. I figured out the problem on FV and sent you a request. Should be in your inbox there. Let me know if you didn't get it and I will resend it. Have a good day and catch up with ya later.

Dy - Hope your day is going well too and hope your work shift is over now, so you can get some rest. It was great to chat with you for a little bit last night. I always enjoy your great sense of humor. Hope you have a nice and relaxing day today..

Mish - Hope all is going well with you and the family. I miss chatting with Isaac, he is so cute and funny too. He's such a nice young man. Hope to chat with you soon.. Miss you girl.. Have a great day..

Cobbles and BR - Hope your both doing well.. Miss seeing you both here and hope to see you real soon.

Well, I have to get my buns in gear now.. Love you all.. Catch up with you later Your first subject - Page 8 194413

Hi All - Have my laundry going now and making progress on it... I couldn't find a Christmas tree stand that would work, so I had to improvise.. The stand that broke in the middle of the night is for an artificial tree and not easy to find replacement stands for them. I looked all over and finally decided, if I tip a flower pot over the opening in the bottom is the right size to hold it and provides a good steady base for it. I figured what the heck it's worth a shot and it worked... I have a garland around the bottom of it, so you don't even know flower pot it there at all and it gave it more height. Tough times called for tough measures LOL..

I used to put up a 6' tall tree, but it got to be a bit much doing mine and my Mom's tree, along with all the outdoor decorations at both places. I have since gone to a couple smaller tree's that are less time consuming, but still pretty with the lights on at night.
