    Lawyer: Letterman ‘Manipulates’ Audiences

    by Associated Press
    Oct 5th, 2009 | 8:46 AM28 28

NEW YORK — The defense lawyer for the CBS News producer charged with trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman called the talk-show host “a master at manipulating audiences.”
Gerald Shargel defended his client, Robert J. “Joe” Halderman, Monday during a round of interviews on network television morning shows.
Shargel says the charge against his client is “so obviously out of character to the point of not making any sense.”
He says Letterman manipulates audiences for a living and to think that he “gave the entire story and there’s nothing more to be said is simply wrong.”

Will Women Now Turn Away From Letterman?
Halderman, a producer for the true-crime show ‘48 Hours,’ pleaded not guilty in a Manhattan court Friday to attempted first-degree grand larceny.
Apparently Dave's show will have the largest audiance, ever!! I am totally discusted with Letterman, and all those who watch him tonite are as sick as he is!!!

    Warrants released in Baum case
Filing reveals what cops expected to find at homes
    Saturday, October 3, 2009 2:17 AM PDT

The warrant includes statements from friends and family regarding a man at the residence in connection with strange phone activity, disturbing conversations involving Lindsey, conflicting alibis and a past accusation of sexual assault.

In the court filing, investigators say they believe Lindsey has been kidnapped, and after what they have refered to as a “credible” tip, believed they would find evidence of her kidnapping at the home.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office has since announced it could not find any evidence of wrongdoing. Some forensic samples taken at the home and a neighboring property on Sept. 25 along Foreman Road still await testing. Results could take months.

A person identifying him or herself as a friend of the man’s family in an online forum said the family has always cooperated with investigators and has actively tried to help with the search for Lindsey.

“Someone has found someone to blame,” the poster wrote. “This is ridiculous.”.......

Good Evening All - Hope everyone had a great day.
Looks like the thread is acting much better today and definately running quicker Yahoo... That was a bit frustrating over the weekend getting booted off and then getting the constant under maintenance message. Glad they got it resolved now.

Well, got one work day done and two more to go for me yet this week. Taking Thurs/Friday off.. It's supposed to rain both days and then the nasty S word predicted for this weekend Ugg.

Raymond Clark To Face Judge Tuesday

Clark Charged In Death Of Graduate Student

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The man accused in the death of Yale graduate student Annie Le is scheduled to face a judge on Tuesday.

Lab technician Raymond Clark III is scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on Tuesday. Clark was charged with murder in connection with Le's death.

Le disappeared from a medical lab building on Sept. 8. Her remains were found inside a university laboratory five days later, on her would-be wedding day. Clark has yet to enter a plea in the case.

Clark's bond has been set at $3 million.

Dugard Likely to Testify Against Garridos

NEW YORK (AP) -- The lawyer for a Northern California woman found alive 18 years after she was kidnapped says his client has mixed emotions surrounding the arrest of her alleged captors, but realizes "some bad and terrible things were done to her."

Jaycee Dugard was 11 when police say Phillip and Nancy Garrido kidnapped her, then allegedly held her captive. Police said the couple raped Dugard, now 29, and Phillip Garrido fathered her daughters. The Garridos have pleaded not guilty.

Attorney McGregor Scott told CBS' "The Early Show" on Thursday that Dugard will likely testify against the Garridos when the time comes. But for now, she, her girls and mother are all getting psychological help and working on basics, like getting birth certificates for her daughters, now 11 and 15.

I haven't seen this posted here yet, so apologize if I may have missed it at some point.

Far as I can see they dont care, As they are not letting us know whats happening. I have got the same problem. And its is a real concern as mine is a Car Club forum. With all events coming up and members letting us know who is attending what. But all I am getting is a lot of phone calls telling me the cant post the cant see post they have trouble logging on. It is rediculous.
Come on Forumotion a bit of info would be nice.

From other forumotion members on other sites. We are not alone... New servers are being installed and sites being moved from on to another etc... We need to just practise a little more patience and should be fixed in a couple of days. Will take time for them to move all the different sites and may have to move them several different times through out the process.

Nah, don't think so. Post above that they are installing new servers and in order to do so you have to switch a lot of sites (including ours around). They will have it working like it did before, but may take a couple more days.

decided i would take a break from working on my book for a while my mind what there is left of it was started to draw blanks so knew it was time to take a break

Good idea BR. Need to let your mind relax and you will know when the time is right to work on your book again.

Ripples, how did u find that out?

I went to forumotion.com and then into forum site. They list a lot of thread comments from other members there. Only posted a few of them above, just to let everyone know what other sites are experiencing. Someone also said it would not even let them log on when they were at log in screen - same problem Linda has been having.
